I've been a little remiss in marking Peter's Gotcha Day - Jan. 29, 2005. I can't believe it's been six years since I brought my sweet, goofy, timid boy home. I actually fell in love with that sweet face several months before I adopted Pete, when he and his littermates were trapped - a bunch of hissy, growly, scared babies. They were about 3 1/2 months old and needed a lot of socialization. Pete was the last to come around and ended up getting adopted by a family who returned him two weeks later because he was vicious. 
Of course, I knew better. 
Pete doesn't have a vicious bone in his body. Just look at that sweet face!
