I am so grateful for everyone's well wishes.

Unfortunatly, Purrcy has gone to the bridge. She died last night, they couldn't figure it out. Apparently she had cancer.

I am so sorry little one, I am so sorry you never came home. I feel like I let you down. RIP Purrcy, I know I only pet you and held you at the hs for 15 minutes but you touched my life.

Oh sweetie - how could you possibly have let her down? This was something no one had any control over. You loved her as your own, even though she never lived with you, and that makes both of you special. I'm just so sorry!

I am so sorry! Purrcy looks so much like my sissy girl that crossed the bridge in July due to cancer. RIP sweet baby!

Aw, poor little Puurcy. She's at peace now.

You wanted her, and that counts for a lot. It was just too much stress for such an elderly kitty. You didn't let her down, her former people did.

Just by following this thread, she has touched my life.

I am so sorry Purrcy didn't get better. Your intentions were wonderful. But sometimes these things are beyond anything we can do.

God Bless that sweet Purrcy girl. Her story has spread beyond the walls of the shelter to people all over the world.

And you can be proud that your love for her touched her when she needed it most.

Purrcy was a gorgeous cat. Listen, you didn't let her down, you lifted her up with your love and kindness. I am so sorry for you losing her. She knew she was loved by you. Rip precious Purrcy
