Here, birdy birdy!

He loves watching the birds - though the squirrels really get him chattering!

And yes, our newest "baby" needs to lose weight.
He always had that chunky frame - but I think he doesn't need quite so much weight to go with it.

(P.S. the picture was taken this morning. I fixed the date problem. )

Aww, he even has thick legs!
(sorry
)

He's such a cutie-pie, with a great personality to go along with that smiling face of his!

So how DO you control one cat's eating/weight when you have multiple cats??

What a manly cat. Though his colors and markings look just like my Mazy cat, and she's a girlie.

I love his colorings, what a pretty cat!!

Off topic: Where did you get that bird feeder? I'd like to get one like it. Thanks!

Kara, here's the feeder: http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...LAID=525367366

But you can just search on "Droll Yankee." We use a premium bird feed that is chock full of nuts, with various seeds, millet, and hulled and unhulled sunflower seeds. We get all kinds of sparrows, wrens, cardinals (a lot of them this year!), chickadees, titmice, nuthatches, lots of different types of woodpeckers, the occasional blue jay (hear the cats chatter for THAT one LOL). In fact... here! Birds at the feeder

Erica - even when he was thin he had chunky legs!
They're short and stubby and soooooo cute!

Otto, when I was looking at the vacuum cleaner refugees the other day, Gary glanced over and said "where and when was THAT?" because for a moment he thought it was Chum!

The ice piled up on it, and it held up through a squirrel this morning - but when a 2nd one jumped down onto the top of the feeder from the awning - that was the straw that broke the camel's back so to speak.

The feeder survived, but I can't reach to put it back up, and Gary's not feeling well enough to brave the weather outside today. So poor Chumley's "animal planet" TV channel isn't working today. He has to watch "nature" out the front window.

I love his little short legs. My Rex has shorter legs than I am used to seeing on a kitty (Blue is a Siamese Mix and they tend to have longer legs anyway, I guess). I bet Rex will be built just like your Chumley.
