This is Light, who came into the shelter as a trapped feral. She cowered in her cage, and when we brought her home to foster, she hid under our couch for two weeks. But, as you can see, she came around. This is just before we took her back to the shelter. She spent at least 4 more weeks there before she was finally adopted.

That is amazing, I'd have never guessed she was feral. I'm so happy she was adopted

Wow, congratulations to you and Dottie for allowing her to trust and be comfortable around humans! I'd never have guessed she was ever feral, let alone trapped as a feral a month ago, if you didn't say it. The kneading, the belly rubs! Wow. Great job, I hope her new people treat her just as gently so she continues to love and trust.

This is really one of those things where a picture is worth a thousand words.

Did you all turn up the sound to hear the purr?

Very sweet and shy looking cat, so glad she found a good home.

Gee, you took quite a chance getting that close to such a ferocious animal. She is precious! Loved the way she tucked her head and showed her belly.

I am so glad she got a good home.

I didn't hear the purr....but I must have done something wrong.
