Good morning!

I was playing a lot of video games at a friend's place tonight so it got me thinking:

Who is your favorite fictional character? It could be from video games or comics or TV or whatever.

Mine is Wolverine from X-Men. I grew up watching cartoons like X-Men and Spiderman all the time and Wolverine was always my favorite. And I thought Hugh Jackman did a really good job with his role in the movies.

Walter from Fringe. I just love how innocent and sweet he is, and I just want to hug him. That is who my Walter is named after, and the name is very fitting for him!

When I was a kid it was Zorro and the little mermaid. I wanted to be a mermaid soo bad, I had to have a costume but the problem was I couldn't walk in it

Now, I don't think I have one anymore. I just don't get obsessed with fictional characters like I used to, or like some of the people I've seen at Dragon Con tend to. Maybe it's my cynicism, because I feel like, I know they're not real so what's the point of worshipping someone who only lives in the author's imagination. Sure, i love reading, watching tv or whatever, but I don't like any single character enough to have him or her stand out above the rest- they're all equal in my eyes...

My favorite video game though is Call of Duty, and I like all the characters on there...They are such badasses, especially this Scottish guy with the hot accent , McTavish from Modern Warfare
I looove it when he tells me where to go and how to locate targets to shoot ...of course I wish they had female characters to choose from, how sexist of them to have ony men

Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I always loved how the monsters she fought in the show were obvious metaphors for the things we deal with in real life. She fought her monsters, literally.

Everyday she went through hell, even died twice, and she still always had a pun or a witty comment about it.

And she was just plain kick ass, lol.

Ahh my thoughts exactly! I loved the campaign in MW2, but I hated playing as a guy! Every game should have the option of man or woman. It's not fair to us girls who want to be soldiers sometime too!

Not really sure I've got a fav, but on the Buffy vein, I was addicted to the show, but it was because of Spike
