My 7 month old kitten Charg3r loves to perch on my shoulder like a parrot. When she gets into her playful mode, which happens alot, if I am sitting down she will run and jump on my shoulder. She will stay up there if I stand up and walk around. She also like climbing to the top of my curtains and perching up therehttp://www.thecatsite.com/forums/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

My Pria does the exact same thing.
She LOVES to either sit or lay on shoulders, but she is getting to the point where she is too big and she doesn't fit as well up there as she used to.

When
Lynxx
was a little kitten, he'd lay across my shoulder at night. Then he got to big. My grandparents cat
Sueling, was always on their shoulders, or mine when I got older. My Midnight loves laying on my shoulder, I can carry him around all day, and night like that. Infact I did when he had surgery on his paw, and wasn't allowed to walk on it. Only it was a lot easier when he was 1lb 1oz, now he's 7 and 1/2lbs, and dead weight when he falls asleep on my shoulder it actually hurts.

Welcome to TCS. We'd love to see pictures of your kitty.
Cats are really particular about their special places. Shareena will perch on my shoulder if I'm walking around, but as soon as I sit down she's gone.

Io does that. She loves to be up high, I think that's the reason. She doesn't climb the curtains though!
When we eventually invest in a cat tree I'll be curious whether or not she'll be so inclined to perch on us (especially Chris, he's 6'5").

I am 6'4" and Charg3r loves to jump on my shoulders whenever she gets a chance. She climbed the curtains the other day and I said, Hey, hey Hey and she backed down the curtain and sat on my chest. She climbs the curtains when she is in "racecar' mode, running around the room 100 mph!!

Aww, my Skittles does that too...or he did until he got too big! Now he makes do with sitting on the back of the couch and resting his paws on my shoulder and nuzzling my neck

We had a kitten when I was little that loved to get up on my father's shoulder. Only his though. Which was funny because he always complained about her but then would let her sleep on him.
