I got a new digital camera for my birthday, and it's really cool. I just thought it was like any other camera, though, and tonight Walter was being really funny so I took a video of him. Come to find out that it was filming in AVCHD mode instead of Motion JPEG. We finally managed to download it to my computer after messing with it for over half an hour, but Photobucket doesn't recognize the AVCHD format so I can't show it to you. BOO!! I'm so disappointed, it was really cute!! First thing I did after finding this out was changed the recording format in the camera to MJPEG.

Does anyone possibly know somewhere else I can try downloading it to so I can show it to you?

Maybe youtube but I'm not sure on videos sorry

Have you tried finding an HD converter to download? http://www.avchdconverter.org/ You can also check Cnet as I trust most of their software.

Updated to add that I found an "Advanced Video Upload" section on Youtube, and you can upload HD video and videos bigger than 2G. It took forever (the video is only 6 minutes long!!), but I got it uploaded and have the link in the picture and video section.
