Wessie Meets Dewey! (okay... it was just the book)

I've finally gotten around to borrowing Dewey from the library. I've been wanting to get it for a while, and you guys have said that it is good, so when I saw it in the library I decided to pick it up. I was reading it on the sofa, and then Wessie jumped up. There seems to be a resemblance between the cat on the cover of the book and the cat on the sofa IMO.
Anyway, I just had to share some pics of Wessie reading the book!

As a matter of fact, I do read to him! Sometimes I even read to him telepathicly...

That's lovely! I'm sure he appreciates being spoken to in a gentle, rhythmic manner even if he does not understand a word.

I just read that book, and my first thought was of my Ferris - he looked so much like that picture of Dewey when he was a kitten! Except Ferris has a crooked little mouth, not perfect like Dewey's.

Isn't that a great little book? What a cat Dewey was. Wish I'd known him.
