we got jericho neutered a week ago, and when i brought him home he was still as bonkers as before, even 12 hours after surgery haha. but this week he has started to mellow and started sleeping in bed with us til about 6, but last night he slept in between and on my legs the WHOLE night! when i got up at 8 he was still there
and when i got up to get ready he just laid in his new jungle gym the whole time, as opposed to his usual running back and forth and jumping off the couch and tables haha
i think my baby boy is growing up

That's great news. However, don't let this little period of laid-backness lure you into thinking his craziness is gone!
When you least expect it, the crazy side will come out!

Congrats on getting Jericho neutered! He really is so stinkin' cute!! (Don't tell my crew I said that, though. They think they're the cat's meow!)

haha oh i know, part of me is hoping hes just growing up but the other part of me knows its more likely just a growth spurt
your furbabies are adorable! that picture of tumbles is the funniest and cutest thing to me! i wish i could get a good picture of jericho when he just lets his tongue hang like that

You'll miss all the kitten craziness when he does grow up and calm down. Tumbles is already starting to calm down and I miss all the funny things he used to do. Now he just likes to terrorize Hannah.

Don't get all excited. Midnight recovered very quickly and went back to his normal energetic little self

My Perkins got quiet for a few days after neutering, but he recovered quickly and was back to kittenhood. Presley was wild the day after surgery and is still my little hyper
angel. My kittens are seven months old and I plan on keeping them on kitten food till a year old. Although, I feed Wellness Core, and that is for kittens and adults.

Amazing how boys chill out when you cut their balls off :p.

Now if only there was a similar trick for hyper active men...

well he continued to sleep with us all last night too! i think this may be progress. hes still his usual hyper self, but when we get into bed, he messes with our feet and so ill play with him for a couple minutes and then he just lays down and cleans himself or goes right to sleep.
im loving it!

Don't get your hopes up.. Angel was out of it for a few days after being spayed and back to her normal crazy self.
Altering them usually doesn't slow them down if they are active. BTW - Thanks for neutering him!
