A weighty issue

I'm thinkin that our kitties have a bit of a waistline issue....

This is Sniggles, she's just past 5 months old.... (scuse my dirty floor, my shoulder's been out)


This is Punky - she's just big everywhere, sitting in her Palace (aka my 120 year old smoking table)


And then... no weight problems here, but my mother's kittens... they are CRAZY insane and insane... ummm yeah

Oh How Beautiful!!! I love Tortie cats and those kittens!!! What adorable little clowns!!! One of them looks like she's been into the catnip!!! And that face on Sniggles is so sweet

5 months!!! Wow my kitties are smaller than that and they are over a year.

Oh they're gorgeous! Punky does look like a big girl - but we were just at the vet and found out one of our kitties that we thought was the right weight is "a little overweight" - and he's thin compared to most of our other kitties!

Okay. Punky is just GORGEOUS!! LOVE her coloring!!

Sniggles is too cute!! I wouldn't worry about a weight problem until he reaches maturity.

Those kittens are hysterical!

How much does your 5 month old kitten weigh? Rex is 5 mos old and he is almost 8 pounds! He is not fat, but very (VERY) solid.

Tumbles weighed 8 lbs at about 5.5 mos. He's got a healthy appetite!

Wow! I just weighed Rex after I posted and he is 5 3/4 mos and weighs 7lbs 9.6oz.

I love them all, but that last one of the two kittens is priceless, spay shave and all.

Queen Eva is past 7 months old now and weighs about 6.5 pounds (that's a guess, she will be weighed in about 10 days) I don't think she is going to get much heavier/bigger, but you never know.

Sniggles and Punky are beautiful cats! And those kittens are just the cutest little things!

Our Mollipop is just shy of her first birthday and she weighs 9.5 pounds....solid, too. I'd say that one out of our six might be a bit overweight; BooBoo was just at the vet and she thought he was good. We'll be taking Ms. Pepe to the vet next month; she's our little chunky baby. Molli and Amber seem to be just right. And Whisper and Bootser are underweight, if anything.

The vet told us that Sniggles is probably going to weight about 11-13 pounds and be a big cat. Right now she really only weighs about 7 pounds, and she's tall. Believe it or not, Punky is the size of a small dog and only weighs 13 pounds herself, but she's such a tank. They both have such droopy bellies, Sniggles got droopy about 2 days after her surgery. My MIL's kittens up there are maniacs who only stop moving about twice a day (they're just barely 4 months) and they stay pretty slim and trim.

Sadly, my kitties are both built quite a lot like their mama. LOL I'm tall and tank like myself.
These guys are so solid they can only play about 5 minutes before they both just flop over on their sides and play "staring contest" and "who can flip their tail the meanest" for about 30 minutes before they get up for another round of beat-the-crud out of each other.

I mistyped earlier, when I said the kittens who appear to be stoned out of their minds are my mother's they're my mother in laws.

That is my mother's kitten, Jazzy - he is Sniggles brother and twice her size already. I know there are a lot of sink cats, mine aren't though, this guy as you see, is.
