It's going up to -3 today, sooooo balmy

I am off to work in a bit, tonight staying late at work to catch up, and maybe head to the gym afterward.

We get to go out for lunch today with one of our vendors too

Not doing much today, but maybe meeting up with one of the girlies tomorrow to do ladies that lunch

Its snowing!!!! If I didnt have to drive today I would probably be a bit more happy about it.

Today is thinking day. I have a lot on my mind and trying to work thru it all and then talking to BF about it...hopefully it goes my way!

Other than that just some more cleaning and working up an original pattern I thought of yesterday.

Morning!

Our "nor-easter" is turning into a non-event, with about an inch of snow expected around here. That's OK....I'll take it. DH wanted to bring me into work just in case we get more than expected, so I'm here early this morning. But an inch? Oh yeah, I'll take it.

I think I'm going to change my clothes around 7:00 this morning and go out for my walk then. And, if it's still OK by noon (not snowing hard), I may just go back out over lunch and do it again!

Nothing much going on around here tonight.

My sister and niece talked to me last night....my niece and nephew are coming up for the weekend and she wants to learn how to make sticky buns (while my nephew and BIL start figuring out the tiki bar for DH's birthday!). I think that will be our task for Saturday. And then Saturday night, I'm either making a rotisserie-style chicken on the grill or all the kids are getting together and going out for dinner.....that will be about ten of us, so we'll have a good time no matter what we do.

ETA: Well, so much for my walk this morning. I looked outside the office to see how light it was and it's already snowing. Wasn't supposed to start until this afternoon. Those weatherweenies didn't get this one right; it will be interesting to see if we still just get one inch from the storm.

Morning all!

Another balmy day as its 22F already! It rose to 29F when I left work yesterday so I chisled some icy snow from the end of the driveway. However we have snow chances everyday until monday.

Kind of overdid it at the gym today-no weights for me.

Can move the furniture back into the house tonite. The echos will be going away.

Nothing else exciting so far today............

A little warmer here today as well thank goodness.

We're supposed to get another pile of snow come tomorrow though. I am SO OVER WINTER!

On the positive side, Ossie is continuing to do SO much better.

He had some treats last night and this morning he was much more spry, following me around for lovin'.

Not a lot going on today really. I'm actually in the office today, but when we get home it'll just be a lot of relaxing. Take care all.

Its soooo cold here today, had a busy morning, had to take Melissa to the dentist, then came back and made dinner and then I've just took Molly to nursery, all I've done is walk around today. I donated our old mattress to the charity shop as I've had a nice lush orthapedic one but the old one was still in fab condition just not good enough for my back and the mans just picked that up, that's my good deed for the day and I'm flippin glad its out the way

My washer is broken and I am so annoyed, I ahve it insured and they were going to repair it but now they've decided that its beyond that so they are giving me another but I just want it now, a week I have been without one and with there being 5 of us that's not good, my bathroom is overflowing with washing, I'vebeen handwashing small items but its impossible to do it all, I'm just so p'd off but the new washer I'm getting is lovely, hope they ring later to arrange delivery.
Gotta hoover up in a mo so I'll be back on later. Have a good day.xxx

Ugh. Too early.

I was up since.. oh, probably 6, maybe before. I don't believe in 6AM!

But Dorothy, while she was a lot quieter overall than the past 2 nights, got loud and very active starting around 4AM. Half slept until around 6 I guess. Then got up to feed the cats so we could give Dorothy her Panacur before BF left for work at 7. She puked up her dose last night.

I feel like I should've just opted for the metro pills instead of this liquid stuff. We both have some nasty scratches from this morning from her. It's amazing how a sweet docile cat can get so strong and fight so hard when it's medicine time. Oh well, only 2 more doses. And it better work, or else!

So, I am out of coffee!!!! I am about to go the the grocery store to buy some. And then I have a lot of homework to do today, and class tonight. And I don't know what else is going on. Too early to think.

its snowing again today. Thankfully my school is off today for the semester holiday (aka make up day for mid term exams but since it wasn't needed its a day off) I go back to teaching tomorrow. It feels like forever since I was infront of my classes between mid-terms and snowdays.

So today I will do my semester grades and submit them as well as planning for the next few classes.

My private students have already cancelled for today. So its a nice quiet day inside with the kitties.

Good evening.
Really cold today, -17C at the moment. Yesterday we had a snow blizzard and it was very windy.

But today it was sunny during the day!

I got a new purple cordless mouse for my computer, the last one started to act weird so I decided it was time to replace it. It used to doubleclick all the time, or not click at all and sometimes the moving of cursor was a bit hard too. The new mouse is working fine and was on sale.
