I heard my Chewy having a good time in the hall. I got up to see what he was having such a good time with.

Well, he had a mole?????
eeeek

At least it wasn't a mouse. I hope all the mice that had bait have been long gone. Usually they bring in frogs. I usually find them when I walk into the bedroom barefooted and step on one, Ugggggghhhhhh

Did you know that warm blooded animals can carry RABIES? I would have the "mole" checked by a vet to see if it was infected. Moles almost never come out from under ground unless they are sick.

Again I urge everyone to keep your kitties inside where they are safe.

We used to have a cat enclosure that was connected to our house that had a cat door leading out to it. We forgot to close it one night and the cats brought a screaming locust in the house and put it on the bed at about 3 a.m. one time. It was huge and they are so noisy. I guess they thought they would bring us a present!

A mole in the house? I used to have a cat named Weasly that used to dig them out of the dirt. I wish I had him now because I have a mole in my front yard and I am trying to seed a new front lawn.

Blech!
They're so proud of these "treasures", too!

When I first moved here I lived in a little rathole apartment. I had mice for about 2 weeks until they got smart & decided to pester other neighbors that didn't have cats.

Those 2 weeks were pretty yucky, though. I would come home from work & find mouse pieces scattered around
, and wake up in the middle of the night to a "squeak!" sound, turn on the light, and find one of the cats staring back at me with a little tail hanging from her mouth! But I was proud of my furbabies for doing such a great job of pest control! Their patience is just amazing...they'll wait all day in front of a mouse hole without moving.
