Morning folks!

We are getting a break from the cold snap today, thank god! It was the coldest day since 1970 in Ottawa yesterday

Off to work in a bit. Tonight DH has meetings and I think I will go to yoga tonight.

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr its cold outside.

Just some cleaning today and a little work on a long running project. I have half the yarn for it so its just kinda been hanging out on the hook and Im gonna work on it some more. Other than that just some cleaning and putting laundry away.

It's not too bad here, although the temperature has dropped a little in the last 30 minutes

Nothing much happening here?. I lost one of my acrylic nails yesterday and think it's still in the duvet when i changed the bedding

Still really, really cold here as well.

Just waiting for the vet to open so that I can call and see how Ossie is doing. OH how I hope he will eat and that he can come home! This is so stressful, I just want my baby better...

We DID get some good news yesterday however. Dana FINALLY got the raise that he was promised at work! He is no longer a contractor and is a permanant employee with his own benefits. He's already on mine, meaning we now have double health benefits which is amazing. The best part of all this is the substantial raise however, approx. an extra $500 a month! I can't even begin to explain to you all what a huge difference this will make in our lives. We've never been hurting financially, but now we'll be able to maybe have the occasional luxury. Dana wants to buy a big TV to celebrate. Then we'll be saving for the tropical vacation we've been yearning for but have never had! I am so, so, SO proud of him, and happy that he is getting all that he deserves.

Morning!

It's a heat wave! We're up to around 24 degrees! With a high close to 40! Life is good. Just in time for the snow storm tomorrow. But, depending on who you want to believe, we're going to get a little......or a lot. I guess we'll find out. I'm just glad it's a bit warmer as it makes it nicer to walk.

Not too much going on tonight. Nothing on tv, so as soon as I'm done with my exercises for the night, I may just go to bed.

Morning all!

We are having a heat wave. Its 22F with a high of 25F expected.

Our refinished wood floors look good though the odor was stronger than I thought. If it was warmer I'm sure opening the windows would have helped. Its better today though we can't move furniture back unil tomorrow evening.

Going to the gym in a bit. Trying to get back in the morning gym routine but its been so crowded with all the newbies.

Work then dinner and who knows what the evening will bring. The cats are messed up with their morning routine since they don't have the living room furniture to take their morning nap!

It was so cold here yesterday too. It got down to -24C. I have one of the worst jobs when its cold. I work in a fry truck (a sucky job, but surprisingly it pays good) and all weekend the walls, door and windows were all icy and it was freezing in there. I worked for 29 hours since Friday in that cold. I am glad its warmed up to -1C now.
