Hi all,
I am new here and I do need some help from you guys.

I have a cat at home and currently my parents are taking care of her. But 9 days ago, she began to throw up water like stuff and kept no eating at all! Even occasionally she ate some, she threw up immediately after having anything. She has a body temperature of 38 degrees Celsius (ca. 100 degrees Fahrenheit ). Her mouth is smelly, which is a odor smell.
Four days after that, I required my parents take her to the hospital. But the doctor there cannot detect any abnormal signal on her and the only thing they did and do is transfusion. The medicine in use would probably be glucose solution with sodium chloride.

She is now very thin and not active anymore.

I am, sincerely, wondering from the kind people here, please inform me anything you know to help me out.

Thank you!

If this is an old cat, it could be many different problems. But if it is a young cat, I would be concerned about an intestinal blockage, constipation, or a urinary tract infection.

I am guessing that this is not in the United States?

Thank you for your reply, I don't think they did a blood test. By the way, what can a blood test tell?

Thank you again for your quick reply!

Thank you for your message!
You are right, the cat is not in the states, it is actually in the far east...
And actually, I cannot tell the age of the cat, since she was a wild cat.
Her mouth is smelly, from that I felt she has some stomach problem, but there was no test done on that.

Actually, the cat is currently in China. The medical condition for pets in my town is not capable for many of the pathology test.

I wonder what can we do if I can only access to some pet stores and stone age pet clinic...

Thank you again for all you've done...

Complete blood tests can detect many problems including infection, kidney, liver, or thyroid problems. When a cat doesn't eat for an extended time they can develop liver problems. I just went through my cat having another episode like this which started when he was 18 months old. It turns out he has a chronic inflammation problem called IBD. I took him to a different vet this time I think the other vets didn't look for it because he didn't have loose stools which is a very common symptom for IBD. He also had liver problems both from the inflammation spreading to his liver and from not eating.

The smelly mouth is another clue; the cat might have problems with its teeth (not uncommon) and be unable to eat.

Thank you guys, she's actually getting better. I think further observation would still be needed.
