The MOST annoying dreams!

OK, I don't remember the dreams. But for the past few nights, whatever's going on in my dreams, I hear the alarm clock going off, and I wake up.

Only the alarm clock was IN THE DREAM, and it's like 3:00am or some ridiculous hour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe you could remind yourself to remember your dream, or to go lucid and turn off the alarm clock. Hopefully, you can go back to sleep!

Ooooh....I hate those! Especially since DH gets up first so I wake up panicked that he slept through his alarm and is missing work...and it's something like 2am and the cats are looking at me like I lost my mind.

Is it the same dream every night? Waking up at the same time every night?

Must have sounded pretty realistic then huh? It's better than being stung to death by bees in a nightmare, which happened to me this week. My sister told me people die in real life if they die in a nightmare but that's total bs because I'm still here. In the nightmare, I died, along with some other people running up some stairs trying to escape a swarm of murderous bees.

oh that would be so annoying!
I've had dreams where I think I've slept through the alarm and then I wake up relieved that I still have time.

That whole dying in your sleep thing is a total old wives tale! I remember being told that too. Like if you dream you're falling and don't wake up before you hit the ground then you'll die in real life.

Oh my gosh that's terrible!!! I'd be mad!! LOL!

The other night I had a dream about DH driving us down a road that had some snowy spots and I remember that he wasn't slowing down for them and it was making me nervous. Then last night when we were actually in the car it came to mind and I realized it was just a dream!!

That would be annoying. Too bad there's not a way for you to turn the alarm off in your sleep....maybe then it would stop ringing completely.

I don't know what the dream is. I just wake up because I hear the alarm clock - only it isn't the alarm clock, it's a dream! But no, the time has been differing, and it hasn't been every night. But it IS my alarm - I use my cellphone with a certain ring tone, and that's it!

If it happens again, maybe I'll change the ring tone I'm using for the alarm, and then maybe in my dream I can tell myself it's not the alarm...

Oh thank the stars I'm not only one. What's even worse for me living in an apartment is sometimes I dream someone is knocking on my door and I actually get up prepared to yell at someone for waking me up in middle of night but no one is there and I all confused for awhile.
Though I will take those over ones I have now since aki died. I wonder if I will ever wake up without having to struggle to remind myself he is gone.

I have yet to face this kind of nightmare, but I would take alarm clocks and knocking stranger dreams over those any day too.
