Every time you think you've got your cat(s) figured out, they do something new.
Last night, when I headed into the bedroom to get ready for bed, Ella raced me in there and got up on the edge of the bed, begging for attention. That's not entirely new; she likes attention a lot more now than she did when she came here, and she loves to have her face rubbed or to be brushed.
However, once I got in bed, she came up, put her paws on my chest, and lay down, begging for more attention. She's never done that to me before, although she usually visits Dottie at bedtime for a few minutes of loving. But she was persistent tonight, insisting on more and more attention.
Who says old cats can't learn new tricks?
And keep in mind that when we adopted her, she was on the euthanasia list for being unadoptable.
