Mice Problems, help needed!

I have mice problems - eep!

I need to find these mice:

(And yes - those are mice in the water bowl & kitchen sink)

Ophelia Rose, aka Spookie, L-O-V-E-S those mice. And we're running low. I've had a hard time finding them. The first is the one she likes the most, however the second one will suffice if no others are available. I checked Amazon to no avail. Has anyone run across them anywhere online?? I'm hoping to get them in bulk as they are quite popular amongst my kitties!!

No catnip in these that I know of.

My first thought when I saw your thread title was "doesn't she have enough cats for that!?"

I haven't seen any mice like that; but I haven't been looking around either. Poor Moochie has had all her mice put up since Tressa became mobile! If I do happen to notice any I will let you know!

I get similar mice from Walmart - my cats love this toy the most.

However, we do have problems when they run under the sofa to rest, though. I keep a yard stick handy to use to scare those little critters out of hiding.

Only thing is, the mice do have a beef - the cats keep chewing off their little mouse tails.

I get 12 to a package for under $5.00.

Would catnip be bad, or would it offend her?(don't laugh, some cats don't like it.... I had one at one time, lol!)

Probably not - might get her a bit "off the wall" more than she already is. Usually doesn't send her into attack mode, though.

Ok, I'll check and see if they still have the ones like that ( these are the only ones that mine haven't chewed the tails off of, for that matter!)

And for the record? At one time when I was a breeder, I had five adult cats and an everchanging number of kittens, and STILL had a mouse problem! My tomcat was a heck of a hunter, it drove him to distraction because they were coming up behind the stove and running behind the edge of the counter where he couldn't get to them, bless his heart.

Oh, my kitties like those, too! I think I got them in a big pack at Wal-Mart. I don't shop at Dollar General very often, but it's a possibility. I know I didn't get them from a catalog/online. There is a small possibility I got them at Petsmart.

Hmmm, after a bit of Googling, I think Petsmart may be the winner. These look pretty close: http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...:referralID=NA

I'm going to Walmart today. I'll see if I can find some there for you and if so, I'll mail them out.

Me too! I know you live on a farm so there probably are real mice around. I also figure they have fairly short life expectancies....

I get those type of mice from the dollar store, usually in packs of five. I've seen them in Petcetera (Canadian store I think) in multi packs too. Perhaps you can order from Petcetera online? Not sure if they're catnip filled or not though.

By the way, this is what I came home to one day. It was on the bathroom mat and I totally freaked before realizing what it was!

Well at least you know where these mice are. All Autumn's mice are gone, probably under the couches, the bed and goodness knows where else. Then she looks at me as if to say, I need more toys cuz I don't have any

I got my pack of 8 or 10 at Walmart too. But they are all gone, sometimes she loses one in less than a day.
