Introducing: Spencer and Katie!!

Here are the 2 newest members of my family!

First of all, here is Abby wondering who is on the other side of the door. You can see her shaved spots and sutures from where the cysts were removed on the 13th.

Oh heck! Who cares. I'd rather sit where I can watch Meowmy.




And now, here is Spencer and Katie!!!!

They look so much alike that I can't tell them apart unless they are looking right at me! Spencer is a little bigger than Katie, but not by much. However, if Katie is looking right at me at a certain angle, I can see taller tufts at the point of her ears than Spencer has. And while Spencer looks a little lighter sometimes, he can also look as dark as Katie or vice versa. So here are some shots of both of them....I have no idea who is who! I *think* Katie is inside the carrier.

Here are some of Spencer. Not as many as Katie because when I'm in the bathroom, he's usually under my legs or beside the toilet by the wall, checking out the bottom of the door Abby sits outside the door when I'm in there with it closed. She doesn't like closed doors.

When Spencer eats, he makes a little growling sound! It's tooo cute!!








And finally the cat tree! That isn't it's final spot. But it's all I could manage by the time I got it home. My back is pretty done in from lugging stuff around 3 days in a row.

No kidding! Even their facial markings are the same, or so similar it's not readily noticeable to my eyes!

I was looking at the back stripe, but when Spencer is sitting with his back directly to me, it looks the same as Katie's. So far the only thing that is evident is the tufts at the point of their ears. Katie's are taller and more noticeable.

When they get to roam around more, I'll likely be able to come up with some other tell tale ways to tell them apart.

They're both grey.

They would let you! Especially Katie! Right now Spencer is too curious about what is on the other side of the door to bother with lots of lovings, though he sure does love them when I manage to catch up to him.

I hear activity in the bathroom. I turned the light out for the night, and now they hear me out here. I have to give them their last dose of pain medication and their wet food for breakfast and give them cuddles.

This afternoon I'll be putting up baby gates so that they can all see each other and give Spencer and Katie a chance to have a little more room to roam for a few hours.

Yep! My little (well, not so little) red head! I think she's gorgeous too!

They both have shaved bellies because Spencer had a hernia. So they are basically identical twins to my eyes, even though they are different genders.

So far the only way I know is the dark tufts at the tip of Katie's ears. And I haven't seen them side by side for any length of time so I can't tell for sure if Katie is actually darker than Spencer or not. But I was looking at their facial markings and if there is a difference, it's so slight that I can't tell the difference!
