New Cat!

She just sounds so sweet, and does have the cutest, most inquisitive little face!

Our Spooky is like that - kneading in place while standing up being petted.

Ugh. See my other thread in the Cat Lounge. I mean, not bad, but she was miserable in the bathroom, so i was up half the night trying my best to make sure no one shared litterboxes. Otherwise, she's fine.

Oh, and her name is Dorothy! Unless it's not. But we are pretty sure that's it.

Also, she likes belly rubs!

She is beautiful! I had an orange cat when I was living at home with my mom and I named her Peaches. I even bathed her in peach smelling soap sometimes. That poor cat! LOL Dorothy looks very happy and healthy.

What a pretty girl! I hope she adjusts quickly and everything goes smoothly.

Thanks again for the compliments. As of yesterday afternoon, there's only been I think 2 hiss from Genever! She still keeps her distance for the most part, but I think she's coming to accept that Dorothy will be with us for the long haul. I just really hope it will keep progressing from 'tolerate' to actually liking/playing/snuggling.

She's got some huge whiskers! And she has 1 black one on her right rise, and a few black ones on her left. If I can get a closeup without bugging her too much, I'll post some whisker pics.

Yeah, she seems very comfortable. I'm glad. She does lie under the bed a lot though too. Otherwise, she spends her time near us, rolling over to get a belly rub now and then..

Thank you!! I love her tiny little chin too, and her BAtman ears, and her 'shopping bag' (see Girls Getting Closer thread in the Cat Lounge ). Dot is definitely settling in, tonight she was playing so hard! And she and Genever were chasing each other around a bit, which is a first. Progress!!
