New Cat!

Here she is, not the best pics, but she wouldn't stay still, kept rubbing all over me. Then she lay down for a few seconds, making biscuits , then she'd get right up again. She's not really as huge as she looks lying down here. Also, her head is small, that makes her look bigger too.

Silly face:

I'll get some more, I'm sure. And hopefully we'll find her name soon too.

She's adorable

Ohhhhhhhhhh I am so in love already, so I can just imagine how YOU feel!

It's amazing how desperate they can be for attention, sometimes. She has the same little pointy ears that our Ella has.

What an inquisitive little face she has!! She's so adorable! Definitely need LOTS more pics of her!

She's SO cute!! I love her ears! Congrats!!

She's very unique looking, in a most adorable way. She'd be nicknamed "Pinhead" (affectionately, of course) if she lived here! Her ears remind me of "Batman" for some reason.

She is SO cute!!!! Congratulations!

Every time BF or I go in the bathroom to hang out with her for a bit, she is just rubbing her face and her body all over us, and purring the whole time. Even kind of making biscuits while standing up, almost looks like she's marching in place. She didn't act nearly that affectionate at the shelter. Guess she's just saying Thanks for taking me home!

Batman! Yes! I totally agree with that! Maybe we could call her Robin? I'll talk to the BF about it.. Then again, a friend's mom's name is Robin. I'll think about it.

I'm sure she's ever so thankful to have a forever home! She's just "workin' it" to make sure you're not sorry you adopted her. I keep coming back to look at her pics. She is so adorable!!

OK, here's the deal. When she poops, if it looks normal, i.e. not runny skinky giardia poo, then i may just have to let her out with Genever, at least for a while. She keeps scratching at the door to get out, I feel so bad!
Oh, I love her!!!!! She does look like she's got Batman ears! What a sweet expression on her face. She definitely looks happy to have a home!

Darling!! Love that face and ears!

Not sure if you are wanting suggestions for names, but some of the ones that came to mind when I saw her based on her colour and face are:

How did she do overnight?
Yay! I hope she makes friends with Genever quickly. She's a real cutie (I love orange cats) and I had to laugh at her torpedo shaped body!
She just sounds so sweet, and does have the cutest, most inquisitive little face!

Our Spooky is like that - kneading in place while standing up being petted.

intros go well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ugh. See my other thread in the Cat Lounge. I mean, not bad, but she was miserable in the bathroom, so i was up half the night trying my best to make sure no one shared litterboxes. Otherwise, she's fine.

Oh, and her name is Dorothy! Unless it's not. But we are pretty sure that's it.

Also, she likes belly rubs!

I will get more pics and post them tomorrow.

She is beautiful! I had an orange cat when I was living at home with my mom and I named her Peaches. I even bathed her in peach smelling soap sometimes. That poor cat! LOL Dorothy looks very happy and healthy.

What a pretty girl! I hope she adjusts quickly and everything goes smoothly.

She's simply precious and so cute. She's very grateful to you for giving her a forever home. Dorothy, Dot for short, is just perfect. Hope she and Genever get along.

Thanks again for the compliments. As of yesterday afternoon, there's only been I think 2 hiss from Genever! She still keeps her distance for the most part, but I think she's coming to accept that Dorothy will be with us for the long haul. I just really hope it will keep progressing from 'tolerate' to actually liking/playing/snuggling.

Here's some more photos I took yesterday of our Polka Dot:

Nice face..

She's got some huge whiskers! And she has 1 black one on her right rise, and a few black ones on her left. If I can get a closeup without bugging her too much, I'll post some whisker pics.
