Missouri laws?

Does anyone out there live in Missouri or come from Missouri? I'm trying to find out what the vaccination laws are, and I can't really find anything. The only thing I could really find is that there is no state wide law (is this true?) and that it is regulated by the local animal control. It's like that here in Nebraska...no state wide law, it's just city by city. Here in Omaha, if you live within a 3 mile radius of the city limits then you have to vaccinate for rabies and license. Otherwise there are no laws. I can't find ANYTHING about where we are going to move. The town we are addressed under is a population of about zero, the next closest is Branson, but again I can't find anything. I can't find anything under the county, either. Can anyone out there help me? Thanks!!

Are you in the same county as Branson? This is what I was able to find out for Taney County (assuming it's the same county you will be moving to)

Yes, we will be in the same county as Branson. Thank you for finding that! I guess there will be no specific laws for where we will be living. All three of them are getting their rabies vacs two weeks from today, so we'll be good in that department. Thanks again!

When I moved to Missouri close to 20 years ago, I had to call both the local town and county offices to get any information from them about animal regulations. I don't know about vaccinations, but other things such as leash laws and number of allowed pets varies from county to county and town to town. I do know that if you are in an unincorporated area, you go by county laws.
