Hello from Catless!

I don't have any cats right now, after going through a nasty breakup earlier this year I was in no financial position to keep them and had to give them to the ex. They're safe, but I do miss them dearly.

To satisfy my thirst for felines I'm volunteering at a local no kill shelter. Other than that I've been looking for work as an engineer (just graduated from VT in May).

Hopefully when I get settled down I can adopt more babies. Until I'm absolutely sure I can keep them forever I'm going to remain strictly catless because giving up my children was a heart rending thing to go through.

Aww, I'm sorry to hear that. You are what I would call a responsible cat owner, recognzing that you aren't in the place right now to take proper care of them. I hope you can get your own babies soon.

I'm so sorry that you had to go through the experience of not only a break up, but loosing your babies too . Kudos to you for waiting until you are in the right place to bring a pet into your home though Any cat to have you as their parent will be truly blessed

I am so sorry you had to go through an ugly break-up!!! But to have to lose your babies must be breaking your heart!!! WELCOME to our family. When the time is right that perfect kitty will tiptoe into your life.

I am so sorry to hear what you went through, but you sound incredibly responsible. I am sure that when the time is right, the purrrfect furbaby will find it's way into your heart. Welcome to TCS.

I am sorry that you lost your furfamily in your break-up but want to thank you for volunteering at a shelter...
I am sure that you will have a lot of feedback to share with other members who also do shelter work.
We enjoy seeing photos of shelter cats too.

I am sorry that you can't be with your cats. Volunteering hopefully will fill that void for you and think of the cats you are making feel loved who are homeless at the shelter you are doing the right thing waiting until your life is in order before you make that decision. And it will come and when it does it will be even more special than you had thought. In the meantime, keep sharing your love and kindness on those shelter kitties. Maybe down the road one of them there at the shelter who has been waiting for a home for a longtime and has been overlooked will become your new future fur baby.
