so Isis has started meowing loudly at bed time, when my husband and I are trying to go to sleep. she only just started this a few night ago. Nothing has changed as far as eating, playing, water, bowels (ew). she stops after a while, but then will start back up again. I call her to come to me, and last night it took like ten minutes until she came for cuddles and to settle down. she does stop meowing and pacing after we do our nightly cuddles. I just don't get why she would start doing this. she's not old at all (between 1-3 years), so she's not going senile, but i can't think of what else it could be? maybe she's started to bond to my other cat and doesn't like to be separated from her any more? the other cat sleeps in my sister's room at night. we even tried wearing her out with some very active play time before bed, and it didn't work very well. maybe longer play time before bed? we only played for maybe 10 minutes. any ideas/suggestions?

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

She could be looking for attention, or even food. Luna is like that.

yeah, I'm thinking it's the attention thing. they get fed about 2 hours before humans' bed time. last night i coaxed her up to have some serious cuddle time before i fell asleep and that seemed to fix it. no insistent meowing like the other two nights. so it looks like I'm going to bed ten minutes earlier from now on, for a cuddle session before i actually go to sleep!

If that doesn't help in the long run, try making play time longer. Maybe 1/2 hour of intense play, or as long as she will go. lol. I get about 20 minutes out of Parker, 45 minutes from Buddy before they get tired. But hopefully this works for you and some extra lovins is all she wants.
