Coldest day ever here so far this year. -33 with the windchill

I am off to work in a bit, tonight will hit the gym and maybe start figuring out how I'm going to study for my April exam.

Wow, that's cold!!! Its 0 here but no wind.

Well today I am making a great chili recipe from weight watchers. And also a decadent chocolate cupcake made with espresso powder. I have to find someone to give the cupcakes to tho, cuz we are on our diets!!

Just experimenting to find a good one to take to family gatherings.

Foster Romeo is being adopted this morning, so I'll be heading to the shelter when they open to finalize that before heading off to work.

Morning all!!

We are down right balmy at 22F! Expecting some snow too though only 3-6".
Did some more picking up around the house this morning. Yesterday I finished re-organizing all my Christmas decorations and the wrapping paper, bows, etc.....
All put away then I found 4 more items I had bought on sale after christmas!

Off to get ready for work in a bit. It will be slow I bet with the snow coming or it could be busy in the morning.

The girls are snoozing on the sofa by me.

Morning and Happy Monday!

We're to get to around 30 degrees today, but then warm up a bit tomorrow....just in time for an ice storm. It's to start snowing tonight, followed by ice during tomorrow's rush hour, before turning over to rain tomorrow afternoon. Is it spring yet?

I'm off work today for the MLK holiday. So I'm busy in the house. Trying to finish up laundry and get some vacuuming and dusting done. I'm roasting 12 pounds of beef bones in the oven this morning to make some nice beef stock later on this afternoon. Wanted to get that done on Saturday, but we got to doing other things. But the house smells wonderful with those bones and vegetables in the oven.

Hair appts tonight and then grocery shopping. I think dinner for our Meatless Monday will be Italian Vegetable Soup with apple cinnamon muffins.

Good afternoon everyone!

Nice sunny day out again, I think the rain is done for the year.

It's about 74 right now, I love it! I am going to plant my peas outside today I think. Wish me luck!

Doing laundry right now, and I picked up some things from Trader Joe's for dinner tonight, since I don't have school tonight because of MLK day. I'm going to make fresh cheese ravioli (no, not homemade- TJ's-made. One day I will try making myown though), and I'm not sure about the sauce yet, but it will involve a bunch of veggies. I have a jar of their pink vodka sauce, so I might cheat and just sautee veggies and then mix it in with that. MMM I'm getting hungry!

So, not much else, just digging in the dirt and whatnot, enjoying this warm weather finally.

I think we are having a heat wave with 44 degrees! LOL! But at least all of the snow is gone!

I am off work today which is good, because I feel like someone hit me with a truck, backed over me, and hit me again....
Some sort of cold but its already driving me nuts. I woke up coughing during the night but it has just gotten worse all day.

I have nothing planned tonight. Havent even thought about dinner yet...

Oh wait, no I do have one plan. Hiding in a bathtub with a book for a while
