I had
Lynxx's
ashes sitting on the computer desk, so he'd always be near me.

I didn't want it moved, but Luna keeps bothering him, and we don't want the box to get knocked down and broken. So tonight we put
Lynxx
in his final spot. We made room for him in my mother's breakfront cabinet.

With
Lynxx
is now his mr. ball, mr. feather, and mr. string. The toys he played with from kittenhood through adulthood. His letter from the vet. His cardboard with his paw prints on it. His first baby collar, his last collar, and his 2 name tags. And I also had all the whiskers he'd lost over the years, in a baggie taped up on the fridge. I put those with his ashes as well, they belong to him now. Actually I don't know how we managed to get all of that to fit in the little box with him, but we did.

We bought a small flameless battery operated candle, and put that next to his box.

Unfortunately I couldn't find a picture small enough to fit in the slot on his box. So I took pictures with the new camera of his pictures. And I'm hoping to resize them, when I can get them on the computer.

I miss
Lynxx
so much.

Oh I know how much you miss your kitty. But what a wonderful memorial! It's such a beautiful tribute to Lynxx.

He is still with you, just now he is safe from the other kitties and his presence is always there.

aww I am sorry!

I would recommended for the pictures, take them to walmart and scan them in, resize them, or crop them! That way they are clear and crisp!

I know all too well how sad you are
. No words can take the pain away. It's pain that you have to go through because you loved him sssoooo much!!! You gave him more love that anyone else in the world could. He was made for you. He was your soul mate, and so few people are blessed with having their soul mates come in kitty form.
Your memorial to him is very touching!!! It not only shows your love for him; it also shows what a wonderful person you are, sweetie.

I'm sorry the move made it hurt more all over again, but such a sweet memorial! And he's safe now, sweetie, and that's important too.

I know how you feel and so do most of us here. Some of us grieve longer than others but it's something we have to do to get on with our lives. It's wonderful that you saved so much of your Lynxx, he will always be with you.

That sounds like a lovely tribute. Not a day goes by that I don't think of Boomer. I know I did what is best, but I would give anything to just have him back.

Oh that's so sad
You made a great place for him though, it sounds lovely. I've only lost one cat so far, and I don't want to think about losing any more

I am so very sorry about your sweet baby boy. I lost my 13 year old Sissy girl back in July to cancer. I still cry for her. She was the only girl cat I have ever had and she has a special place in my heart forever. She is buried in my yard and I have a beautiful pink gerbera daisy that periodically blooms on her grave. I miss her sweet soft fur, her chubby cheeks, and just HER. My heart hurts for you and I know how you feel. God bless!

I am really sorry for your loss. It's amazing how much love can pass between humans and animals. It's beautiful, isn't it? You will always have your memories. Feel better.

Everyone who's ever lost a cat, dog, or person would do anything to have them back. I know you would. I know I would. To bad it doesn't work that way.

Wow that sounds like a wonderful place for her to be buried.
