Cat ate my dog's interceptor pill

My 14 month old cat just jumped up on my counter and ate my dog's interceptor pill (small dog) as I was preparing to put it in his food.

Should I be worried?

The small box of Interceptor has a cat on it as well. . .evidently it's also given to cats, but at a higher dosage per-pound for cats than for dogs (green box is labeled for dogs 11-25 pounds, cats 1.5-6 pounds). So I think it's safe, unless your cat is sensitive to the ingredients.

Does your vet have an after hours number that you could call?

I finally found someone open after hours and they said the same and to just keep an eye on her.

Thanks for the quick replies, good to know everyone is looking out!

If you've microchipped your cat through HomeAgain AND you've paid the yearly payment, you can call their 1-800 # and get free poison control type help.

If you notice anything wrong, bring your cat to the vet right away.
