Naptime detente!

Okay. Laid down for a quick nap before the evening set in. Joined on the bed by some of the usual suspects, such as Ghost and Tex. Cats on the bed, off the bed, stepping all over me. Jockeying for prime nap real estate. Some growling and hissing- definitely Casper - he has issues with some of the other cats. He's scared of them; doesnt like them. And they bully him. Sigh....

Anyway.... I am buried under cats... no telling how many, cuz the only one I can see is Ghost. I mean really... I am pinned. I know Prowler is there because he stuck his face in mine and then laid down across my legs! LOL.

But when I finally decide to move and I extricate myself from this kitty pile, what do I see? Are my eyes deceiving me? Casper (big brown tab upper left of photo) had been napping in CLOSE PROXIMITY to Jake and Prowler.. his nemeses! Tex is neutral.

I guess everyone was just too sleepy or comfortable to do much of anything but posture (hiss,growl) ... and they stayed like that for quite a few minutes after I got up. If I didn't have photographic proof, I would not have believed this!!! Let's hope this is a big leap forward in household detente!!!
