Hey fellow kitty enthusiasts! I posted a question last week without properly introducing myself, so I'll do that now.
I'm from just outside Toronto, an aspiring artist/writer/journalist who's trying to get her act together after having graduated from university. I'm currently working as an English tutor while trying to "find myself".
I'm also the owner of two quirky tabbies. My handsome Niko will be 9 in March. His best buddy Murka will be 6 in the summer.
I'm an animal nut generally, but I've always been especially partial to cats. After our previous cat Maya needed to be put down when she had feline leukemia, I never wanted another cat again. But then Niko came along, unexpectedly! I was 15 when he joined the family, and since then, he's been my companion throughout the throes of adolescence and early adulthood. Of all the cats we've had, we've had him the longest, so I've become very close with him.
I look forward to getting to know you all and your furry friends! I'll see ya!
