Horrible news! Anyone remember Rosemary/Butzie?

That's so sad!! Today would have been her birthday. RIP Rosemary.

This is terrible news. Rosemary was my SS recipient. No wonder she never posted any acknowledgement.
Am very sorry to hear of her demise. I checked her profile and she visited the site on Dec. 20. Obviously it was not her but whoever it was, should have posted something.
Goodbye Rosemary! Rest in peace.

Oh my gosh! I am stunned! If I remember correctly she has a teenage son and a daughter in her 20s. If someone knows or finds out what happend; please let me know. I can't believe this!

I am soo, soo saddened to hear this . This does explaine why she never called or texted me back though. I had been in touch with her since 2008 (Over the last few months, it had mainly been about SS, but also just as a friend). She had been in and out of the hospital multiple times over the past year and had been dealing with a lot personally. (I will keep the reasons for the hospital visits private out of respect to her right now; if the mods don't mind, I will elaborate more later.) The last time she went into the hospital, I didn't hear from her for quite a while. I called her a few times and texted in December (about her SS), but never heard back. I thought maybe she was just busy. Now I know why I never heard back. I was worried something happened to her; it wasn't like her not to call/text back. I had no other numbers for her family/friends to check in on her though . I am soo sad to hear this development. She does indeed have two children, Ben- her son, and an older daughter (Jennifer) that is in college. My prayers go out to both of them right now.

Does anyone know if her kitty, Butzie is safe?

In a side note, several years ago, she ordered a design piece from me that I shipped out to California for her. I believe it had her ex husbands email address attached to their paypal account. I will try to look up his email address (it's been a long time, so I'm not sure if I still have it) and get in touch with him to get an update on the rest of her family and Butzie.

That is horrible news. I'm so sorry to hear that. I didn't know her well, just from what she posted on this site, but she seemed so full of life, always interesting to read what was going on with her. I don't know what else to say. I hope she at peace, and I send my condolences to her family and friends.

After a little bit of digging, I was able to find Rosemary's ex-husband's email address. I emailed George a few minutes ago; I'm just hoping that it is a current email address and he is able to respond. If I hear anything, I will let all of you know.

The world has lost someone very special. I remember Rosemary a little, but I do remember Butzie!! All my sympathy and condolences go out to her family. I do pray for her furbaby!!! RIP wonderful cat lady...

This is so sad It's one where we have to tread carefully with an ex husband though, because what if he doesn't know anything yet?.

What a shock! I didn't know her except through her posting here, but she seemed like a special lady. I too hope someone is taking care of Butzie.

I sent her a happy birthday - we used to PM a lot, and I've been worried about her, but saw her last site visit was just before Christmas. As someone pointed out, obviously it wasn't her. This is just shocking and SO sad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As she had children, I can't imagine her DH wouldn't know. I'm not even sure the divorce was actually final - it might have been, but that would have been this fall at most (I'm pretty sure) though they'd been separated for some time.

I am so so so so sorry. to her family.

I'm so sad about this I really liked Rosemary! And I looked forward to her postings and reading about Butzie!

I know she was having problems with her hand which was broken and required surgery. I never heard anything more.

I hope Butzie and Sandy (Bird) are being looked after by a family/friend.

I had only seen Rosemary a few times here on TCS, as she stopped posting just a little while after I joined, but from the posts I saw, she was a very kind person. RIP Rosemary. At least now she has joined her RB pets.
I hope that Butzie and her budgies are okay, and have someone caring for them.
