Call 555-BRAT to hire the services of The White Tornado.
Venetian blinds a specialty. Cheap rates...

Yes, my big white baby boy has been in fine form the last few days. Pulled down the blinds from the front window, the curtains from the front door, unrolled a roll of toilet paper all over the bedroom, dove from the shelf behind my chair and landed next to the laptop almost giving me a heart attack. Oh, and scattered the papers and magazines where he landed.

Did you know birdwatching can be painful? I have been whacked on the back of the head with his tail as he watched the feeders outside of the window where the blinds were.

Can't give him away though. He's started cuddling with me in bed - nose to nose with his meowmy.

I know your pain! My 8 month old teenage kitten destroyed a router recently, she chewed on the ethernet cords, took out a speaker and also a mouse for the computer all in one night. She's never messed with any of that stuff before! Now we have all of our wires covered/hidden.

I sympathize!

My Aya has been up to similar antics. I got a wonderful pets-ok apartment 2 mos ago. Wonderful except the walls are papered with real delicate wallpaper that does not have any sort of hard finish to it with a texture that feels just like cat scratchers.

It also has no windows, only 2 sliding glass doors, which have to be open if I want any ventilation. I even bought baby gates for them as Aya demo-ed the window screens at my last place. No use. Now she climbs the gates and screens like a spidey cat. Arrrgh....

Finally I bought a used chair at the recycle shop. At least she seems to have transfered her desire to scritch from the walls to the chair, which is now hers. Sacrifical furniture!

Must be something with the weather! I'm sorry you're having to endure all this, but thanks for the giggle!

Trapped in the catroom! ;o)
Those darn kitties. LOL

Ramsie is more and more....and MORE becoming Lucifer herself. The whole time I work on my crocheting she will sneak up jump halfway up the couch cushion grab the first bit of yarn she can find and RUNNNNNNN. I have actually contemplated changing her name to Lucy (Lucifer) she is that bad. I know its just a kitten stage but holy jeepers creepers she is one badddddddddd kitty. Shes always in trouble and heaven forbid you open the fridge door because she will hear it even in a dead sleep and come running like crazy and sit at the counter waiting for the milk to come out. Poor BF hasnt been able to eat in peace since she discovered cupcakes and milk. Hehe she doesnt bother me though.

And he's got a sidekick- the black tornado- AKA HollyHeart AKA "Mayhem"

That cat. Last week it was eating 14 inches of yarn (dd was playing with her- but we had no clue the cat would swallow it like spaghetti)

If you leave the door open to the pantry- she's figured out how to get into the cat food container and she will feed herself.

I've gotten whacked by her tail too while bird-watching in the kitchen. She also enjoys aggrivating the squirrels.

She's always been a very mischevious cat- I thought she'd chill out some when she turned 1 in Oct. Nope.

I think they get the winter blahs too and just need to go crazy sometimes!
Lovely how he's giving you nose-to-nose cuddles though.

Ari turns 6 this March and he has yet to "calm down".

Nothing quite like a cold wet nose against your warm dry nose to wake you up.

My blinds have also seen better days.

The cats managed to break a printer while trying to find the monster that lives inside of it.

I do manage to get my revenge, though. They still run from the vacuum cleaner.

We've tried to baby proof - but, it's hard to think like a cat because they seem to always be ahead.

We have hooks on our doors (pocket doors) because we found out the hard way that the cats know how to open even the most difficult doors. I put up baby locks on some of the cabinet doors - ha, thought I didn't have to use them any more. the cats taught me otherwise.

Oh, and if they can't get the door open, they then try clawing up the floor to dig under!

And, by no means let them watch you lock or unlock something - 'cause they'll be at the door trying to copy your actions.

And, don't let them get bored - cause they will find something to play with or without your help.

I hope you have Ari answering his own business calls, that should keep him busy for a while.
