New Member, Here!

Hello!

I've just joined the site and I've read and learned a lot from this site. I'm a new owner to 2 male DSH's, now aged 5 months. I saved them from the local shelter just after my cat Shadow passed away back in May. Shadow was also a resecued cat not kitten, so these 2 kittens are my first and I have to learn so much.

Their names are Aragorn and Legolas, after the trilogy The Lord of The Rings. Aragorn is a brown tabby and Legolas a gray tabby. Once I figure out how to link my photos of them I will repost for all to see. Sorry to keep you waiting!

Good evening and welcome.
I have found in the last week that I have been on that these are a group of people (mainly women I reckon by the amount of messages that say mom to .......)that are supportive and I have not enjoyed a week so much on line as I have here. I look at the site first thing and last thing in the day - people have lows, ups and downs and its not all cat talk - but I would trust any person here with my cats and I have no idea what any of them look like.

Well, thank you all who've replied so far for the very warm welcome!

Aragorn and Legolas would also like to thank you because without reading this site first our Mom didn't know anything about us! LOL We love her but we sure are as she calls us "Monsters Inc.", shhhhhhhhhh don't tell her that we said that! hehehehe

Now that I have my keyboard back, I would like to say that what I've seen thus far I've enjoyed. I've spent most of the day on here looking at questions for problems that I personally have with my 2 boys and have found some very interesting answers!

I definately know that I will be enjoying myself very, very much here!

Ohhhhhh, Dougbug.....another kitten??? I don't know about that, even Mom of 10 cats would like me to buy a Munchkin kitten and call him Gimli! I'm just learning about what my kittens like and dislike. I've spent lots of money on toys they don't even play with and I should have more kittens?

I'm overpowered by males in my household, there is Cisco my dog and of course Aragorn and Legolas and my husband! I don't think I can handle another male in my house, but I am being sneaky and looking for a female kitten without my hubbies knowledge!

Anyways, this is the most fun site that I've ever been involved in. I just love the interaction between everyone. I still don't know how to add someone to my Yahoo Messenger yet but if anyone is willing, please feel free to add me.

Hello I'm new here too,so far its great fun.Kittens are fantastic,Iremember when my 2 babies were kits you just can't take your eyes off them!!!!
Mork+Mindy are 6 now and to be honest they haven't lost that kittens curiosity.
Great names too Aragorn and Legolas.
