I just got back from the gas station and it was $3.01 a gallon for Regular which I always use. I was very low on gas so it cost me $30 to fill up the tank. How much are you paying in your area??

it was $2.89 for regular yesterday. Although we tend to pay a bit more because we go to a gas station that tends to be about 5 cents higher, but there is no ethanol in their gas.

It was $2.99 when I filled up the car today.

The minivan hasn't been driven in forever. I started it over Christmas, but that was about it.

But I'm NOT driving that car. Not when it's almost $60 to fill the thing up, and it gets maybe 20 MPG. Not when I have a little Focus that gets 27.

I wouldn't complain people.
We just have a small 4 cylander Dodge SX 2.0 and the last time we filled it up, from empty it was $43 and change.

Costs $70-80 to fill my Magna at $5.60/gallon. Still it's cheaper than Europe

It's about $2.91/gal for 87 here right now. Costs me around $40 to fill my Mustang's tank. The Integra takes about $36.

My F-350 used to be around $100 to fill, but it's out of commission, getting it's issues straightened out.

There's approximately 3.8 litres to the gallon. So that's £4.89 per gallon equivalent. And one pound is right now 1.5574 US dollars, so that's US$7.60 per gallon equivalent.

Regular gas ranges from $2.94 to $3.09 depending upon location here.

The Alaska pipeline was shut down due to a leak, and North Slope production was cut to 5% of normal. Last I knew, they were working on a bypass.

Tell me about it! I have a Civic and it's $50 to fill. Gas is more expensive in Canada I think

I totally forgot about that possibility! I know we get into trouble when working with tonnes frequently, depending upon the company (in the US, a ton is usually 2,000 pounds, but a metric tonne is 2,240 pounds).

So the equivalent to the gallons talked about in the US is the calculation I used. I wonder which gallon is being used in Canada?

Ah, yes, the US and UK ounce size difference. Always a source of 'discussion' between my BF and I.
(He's from England) And it usually has to do with beer volume, for some reason. Is it a UK pint? Is it a half liter? Is it a US pint? Is it a lame US 14 oz 'pint'?

Anyway, since I was off from school for 3 weeks, I hadn't really driven much for all that time, and therefore didn't need gas. I don't think I got gas for about a month. I filled up on Friday and was a bit shocked! When did gas get that high? I didn't know about this!!
$3.21/gal for regular. Ick. Luckily i have a little Toyota Echo that doesn't suck too much gas...

Still though, it's not as bad as UK, or Canada.
