question of the day mon 10th

Good morning everyone

As I'm running late to get ready for work today the question is

Are you ever late for work?

No never. If theres one thing i can say about myself, when i say i'm going to be somewhere at a certain time i'm true to my word

If i was to run late it would ruin the day for me

I am the same way Susan! I am always early, unless I have a preplanned appointment or something.

In fact, I am always early for EVERYTHING...

In the last eleven years, I've been late to work once. And that was because the cats didn't awaken me. I told my boss it was all their fault.

I'm almost always late to my part-time job. They're okay with it, as long as I let them know. I do most of my work on my own. If they were uncool with it, I'd probably make more of an effort, but they're pretty casual about me coming and going.

That said, when it comes to rehearsals for plays, or anything relating to my profession, yes, I usually arrive early.

Nope--never late. I always get to work 20 minutes early. I guess i just want to get there and get it over with--

We don't really have fixed hours, so it's hard for me to be late. That's one of the best things about my job -- as long as we put the 40+ hours in each week, they're happy. We have some people who come in at 5:30 and leave at 2:30 and and even a few who come in at 10:30 and leave at 7:30. I usually work from about 9:00 to 6:00, but it might fluctuate as much as an hour either way depending on what's going on that day.

Only when I have kittens and get lost in the black hole. But since I'm usually early being late makes me right on time

Sometimes. This morning I was because they had roads closed due to the weather.

I'm not considered late until 8:30am, but it also doesn't matter much, just get the work done. I tend to come in before 8am so I'm usually early. My hours are pretty flexible (ie: I could work day shift one day, and night shift the next if I need/want).

When I did work this summer I was never late. The thing with my job was we had no fixed schedule either, so the only reason I went there at 8 o clock every morning was so that I can be sure to leave at 5...I hated staying late, and I couldn't manage going in earlier than 8.

When I worked I was always getting to work late, no matter how much I rush in the morning. I guess I just like sleep too much. haha

If it is in the morning I will be running late. If it is later in the day I may or may not be running late.

I was still early lol I like to be at least half an hour early so I can have a coffee to warm up after walking to work or a pint to cool down

When I was working I was always 10-20 minutes early. My boss came in late and left early and they laid me off!!!!!!

We have flex hours, so it isn't possible for me to be late. As long as you get your work done, nobody really cares when you come and go.

Yes but try my best not to. Most of the time it's the car's fault.

I have been a couple times with good reason.

I am always early. I was late a couple weeks ago because about 2 minutes before the bus got there, a dog ran by. I looked at his tags and called the owner and they came and got him but I missed my bus. Thankfully that day I was working with my boss and she is an animal lover so she didn't care. I took the 11:20 bus (normally take the 10:50) and was only 5 minutes late.

Not without them knowing I am going to be late.....except for a few times completely out of my hands and I wasn't the only one stuck on the train....
