Cats have various quirks as they go through their different stages of life.

One quirk that Abby used to have, that I found annoying at times, but no longer has that I miss, is that she used to run from across the room, leap into my office chair and send it rolling and spinning across the room until it ended up stopped by a wall.

She doesn't do that anymore, and I find that it's one of the funny things she used to do when she was younger, that I really miss.

What about you? Did your kitties do things that they don't do anymore, that you miss?

When
Lynxx
was a baby he used to chase his tail around and around in circles on the couch until he fell off onto the floor. Once he turned 1 year he never chased his tail again.

This I'm sure Luna will do her whole life. While fixing their meals for them. Luna will scream the word "now" over and over. I love how she says "now".

Midnight constantly rubs up against my legs, I have to hold on to the walls or I'll trip. He's done that since he was 3 weeks old and barely as high as my ankle. I think he'll probably do this his whole life. I love how he watches t.v. as long as dinosaurs are being shown. He'll stop whatever he's doing and watch.

I miss the "I'm going to get Speck" game. Sort of a cat-human hide and go seek. Lots of fun. Now that Daisy is here, I am second choice as a playmate at best.
I also miss Speck kneading my neck at night.

Trout used to lay on my pillow at night above my head. She would purr and lick my hair, it was so cute!

Bobber would sit at the end of the bed when we would be getting dressed in the morning.
We could tap our upper shoulder and she would leap up to our shoulder! She stopped doing that several years ago.

When Kojak was a tiny little bottle baby, he used to hold onto his bottle with one paw and then hold onto my hand with his other - he never scratched, just sweetly "held my hand" like it was a comfort for him. It was soo adorable; I miss that!
He's still very affectionate though!

That is SO SWEET!!
Bella would wake me up to feed her in the mornings by pawing at my mouth!! It was painful and annoying but I'd give anything to have her here to do it to me again!!

Before I had my daughter I used to cuddle on the couch with Mooch after work every day. She loves to be on top of me. When she was a kitten she would lay on my chest. Occasionally she still does this; all 15lb of her!! It's more me that has changed though. She's got to stay out of the baby's reach!!

Noodles used to curl up in a little ball on my lap at the computer. She's not as affectionate. It's always had to be on her terms; but the snuggles definitely happen less.

My RB girl Tiger was a polydactyl. She would grab my pen out of my hand when I was doing homework and not giving her proper attention. She also used to stretch out on her belly on the ground, back legs extended behind her, and pull herself along. She slept with her face in one of my shoes after school many many days too. Then there was rubbing her head on my nose while I was sleeping if she wanted to be fed. She had rotten teeth and the smell was TERRIBLE.

My RB girl Glory was skittish. When she was a kitten the slightest sounds would make her jump up in the air. Like over a foot off the ground. Mom nicknamed her Beans because she said she was like a Mexican jumping bean. She became less jumpy as she got older; but she was always skittish. She used to dart from the garage door to my bedroom (almost a straight shot) whenever you let her in and out.

When Pumpkin was younger he used to put Abby, the dog, in a headlock and clean her eyes and ears. He still does every now and then; but not so much. Maybe Abby stopped putting up with him! LOL!

Even though years have gone by my adult cat acts pretty much the same as when she did when she was a kitten.

Attitude sucking on my finger when she was really little. Her trying to groom my entire face(which was actually very painful, but worth it.) Nuts grooming my hair and face(painful if they lick in one spot too long.) Them cuddling with me.

Nuts walking up the back of the recliner, making sure we were watching and putting just his front feet on the counter and then looking at us like 'What are you going to do about it?' I once yelled at Attitude for being on the computer desk, she let out the cutest little trill, jumped down, walked over and looked at me with the sweetest look on her face.

Maude suddenly deciding Nuts was annoying and whacking him upside the head.
