I did a Review For the KatKabin....

Well, the folks at KatKabin contacted me to review their product, and so I did it... I am in no way shape or form affiliated to them or selling their products, I want to make that clear...
The Kitties LOVE it - since I took it out of the box it's been used 100% of the time by one of them - all of them love it. I think the only down to it is that it doesn't fit 2 kitties LOL (Hope hates that, as she HAS to be near Lucky!). Of course the real use for this is a shelter for outside kitties... Since I have no outside cats, here is a nice hiding spot/cat bad... One day, maybe, when I move to a house with a garden... Who knows this is going to be a shelter for Miss Gracie, Ha!
Anyways, the full review in on my blog - you can just click on my signature, or on this link: http://www.happycatfamily.net/1/post...-katkabin.html

Great job on the review!

I also like the look of the product, though I'm not sure many of my angels would fit, at an average of 16+ pounds per cat.

Thanks! Oh yeah, they fit just fine... Bugsy is bigger than them - Bugsy is 18lbs... The Kabin is quite roomy!

Now I want one! Only, I really have no place to put it.

I looked on the site and they have a new version that has a scratching surface!

I'd consider putting one or more outside, but I'm afraid that raccoons or possums would move in.

And actually, there is a very assertive neighbor who fosters kittens and cats from my shelter and does tnr on any loose cats, or tn and then gets them adopted from the shelter, that there are no stray cats around the neighborhood anymore.

Anyway, I want one!

I can tell you, It is a pretty cool cat shelter for sure! My cats LOVE-IT!
the materials are high quality, and I can see how it can last a long time outside... As I said on the review though, if you live in extremely cold weather, I advise getting the extra insulation padding.

Soon I will be donating one for a cat blogosphere auction, and if you want, I can post it here so you can bid on it - KatKabin gave me one for a give away, but I am donating for an auction so I can help a kitty in need with high vet bills . You can probably get it at the auction for much less!

There are a lot of things I want, but I'm not getting. I don't have room in my house for anything more. Something would have to go if I brought one more thing in. I recently bought a cat bed that I put in the bathroom in front of a heat vent. Every room, except the kitchen (because of no room) has several cat beds, throws, or towels.

And I won't put one outside because as i said there are no feral cats around and it's not a good idea to encourage raccoons and opossums to live in my yard (they pass through all the time anyway).

It was a very well done review, Carolina.

But i am interested in the auction. It is a cause I can get behind. So, I'd like to know more about it. I'm sure there will be something for me.
