Cat Crazed: Canadian Documentary

I've been seeing commercials for this documentary all week and I stumbled across it tonight. It's available to watch online, although I'm not sure if those of you in the US will have access.

http://www.cbc.ca/documentaries/doczone/video.html (if it doesn't play automatically, scroll down a bit and you should find it to select).

It does show "both sides of the story" (ie. not just the viewpoints of the cat lovers), but I think in the end the focus is on how the problem of cat overpopulation could be changed.

I watched that last night and found it quite informative and balanced, although I didn't learn much after coming from this site. Still, if it teaches some more people about the desperate need to sterilize your pets, then good! I found the coverage of TNR quite interesting as it did challenge the assumption of maintaining feral colonies.
That guy (Bill Bruce I think?) in Calgary has some solid common sense ideas and it's great to see them in practice and working so well. Wish it wasn't so difficult to get those concepts (neuturing, indoor cats, cat licences etc) accepted elsewhere.

I watched for about 10 minutes then I had to go to bed. I was too wiped out to stay up and watch.
