We got an offer on our house!! FINALLY!! We just canceled our listing with our agent b/c he was terrible, and somehow an agent found it anyway. She just came up to our door and asked to see it, and they loved it. They came back yesterday to see it again and decided to put in an offer.
We have a few things to iron out since we don't have an agent and our house isn't listed at the moment, the agency their agent works for has a rule that all houses have to be listed (not sure why) so we are listing it through my father (don't have to pay commission!!) tomorrow and we can respond to their offer then. They want to close on March 15th, so we'll have 10 weeks to find a new house and get moved.
I'm so excited that this is finally going to be over, but I'm starting to get sad about leaving this house and all of our family. I've never lived more than 15 minutes from my family, so I'm nervous. Moving 600+ miles with three cats should be interesting. haha I'm just hoping at this point that the inspection goes okay. They're getting an FHA loan, so there may be some exterior trim touch up that we have to do (which is stupid) but I think for the most part everything else is fine.
