Maybe it's just me, but has anyone else ever noticed that some foods taste better either warm or cold? For instance, cheese & pickles always taste better warm (to me, anyway). And chocolate tastes better cold - especially frozen.
V-8 tastes better warm too, and you couldn't get me to drink milk unless it's ice-cold. Maybe I'm just weird, but it's something I've noticed about certain foods. Anyone else feel this way?

Depends on the food. I don't like cold pizza for example.
Cheese very much depends on the type of cheese. Some melt and taste better melted than others. I like sweet pickles and they have to be cold or they just taste funky.

Milk has to be very cold, otherwise it has that aftertaste that milk has. Depending on brand, that aftertaste can be even worse as some add too much sugar, vitamins, and minerals into the milk and override the natural taste of it. Some of the worst was a brand that was sold in Michigan (at least it was in the 90s, I don't know if they're still in busines) called Inverness. It wasn't a freshness issue as it was local, they just had some funky tasting milk. Nothing, not even having it as cold as you could get it, helped. (all the school milk was that brand, too.
)

I tend not to like too many foods, like chocolate, frozen or near frozen. I've had cold sensitive teeth since I was a child.

I think it's a personal preference, or maybe our taste buds are just made differently. I prefer cheese and pickles cold, chocolate hot, V-8 cold, and won't drink milk at any temperature for any reason.

I enjoy cold things. Cold fruit, all fruits and veggies are kept in the fridge and served from there. Iced drinks, like I will make black or green tea then let it cool and ice. Cold pizza. Cold salads. Although I like soups warm. It just depends.
