The girl had to spend the night at the vet's so they could get a good urine specimen. When I called to check on her about an hour ago, she'd still not peed for them, but then again, there is much activity to keep her occupied and distracted.
She finally peed for them a few minutes ago and the urine looks good. She had no blood in her urine and the concentration was good (probably because she'd not peed in more than 20 hours!), but her white cells were high. The vet seems to think it's from the stress of Callie being gone. We are to continue watching her urine output and make sure she's not straining, making frequent trips to the box, and/or producing smaller than normal output.

I'm so ready for her to be home!

Who would think that the loss of her friend could actually cause her WBC to rise? Wow! And I'm sure YOU were majorly stressing out, having just loss Callie, then having Hannah possibly sick.

and that things smooth out now and things get back to as normal as they can without Callie around.

Poor girl!!! Stress can bring on infection ( lowered immune response)... so I am glad you are keeping an extra close eye on her.

Well, she threw up almost everything she ate yesterday!! I'm hoping it's just the stress combined with whatever food they fed her (we didn't take food with us for her). She threw up last night and then again overnight. She didn't want food this morning, so we have been giving her baby food about every 2 hours and increasing her intake. This past feeding time, I added some of her regular canned food and so far, so good. She is drinking well, too.

Thanks for all the good wishes and vibes. I think they're working! This evening she finally ate a couple of crunchies and almost all of her normal food!!
I did mix in a bit of baby food with her regular food and didn't give her as much regular food as normal, but she pretty much ate a normal size portion tonight. Praying we're on the road to recovery!

I'm glad to hear she finally peed, and that now that she's home she seems to be feeling back to normal. Keep being well, Hannah!

She's really good, though. She aims for the litter box!
