The liver panel she did on Patches came back really good. The main enzyme they look at is at 115 and she said anything 110 or below is normal. At it's worst it was nearly 1300. The second needle biopsy done last week still showed inflammation but there were no atypical suspicious cells. Because he was so inflamed she wants to keep him on the same steroid dose and antibiotic for at least another month, maybe 2 months. Unless he gets sick again he doesn't have to go back to the vet for a month. He got his feeding tube out yesterday. Now I can work on getting the cats back together again. It's been quite a while so I think this is going to take time. Alice is overdue for her exam so when he goes back in a month I'm going to also make an appointment for her checkup that way we won't go through this again with Alice for a while longer anyway.
