My earbuds finally came! I haven't been able to listen to my mp3 player, as the earbuds that came with it stopped working after like a month. Anyway... I was just wondering if anyone has experience with Skullcandy earbuds (Ink'd in particular). So far mine seem like they are working well. Please share any experiences that you have had with them!

By the way, if you have any type of earbuds, please share pics.

These are mine. ^

Nope, Don't have this one... Mine is a Sonix Lenntek with a strong Braided cord, for me a must - I am a ear bud destroyer; I use it both for my iPod and phone, both on the road and at home, so it is constantly tossed in my bag... This thing is awesome!

Just some Sony MRDEX38iP's. Not the greatest, and to many they probably have too much bass. They do have a better frequency range than many in that same price range, though.
They don't completely cancel out background noise, but I actually can vacuum with them in and hear the music perfectly fine. The only downside is that tight fit inside the ear canal does make sound transfer (from the cord rubbing anything) more noticeable and that the covers get dirty after each wear.

DH has some Skullcandy Smokin' Buds, which are a little bit above the Ink'd, but still sound worse (to me) than the 38's I have - though that could have been partially because I heard them pre any burn in. They don't seem to fit as tight in my ears, either.

They are the best ones available on a budget. Bumping up in price a bit but also in quality are Etymotic Research MC5s (or the HF5s if you want to be fancy, but theres diminishing returns IMO).

I can't wear the earbuds that go inside the ear and are held in with the little rubbery bits. They won't stay in at all. The hard ear buds like the ipod ones hurt my ears and give me a bad headache after wearing them for a few minutes. I wear these kind (mine are all black, tho):

They sit over my ears. I like them well enough. If I wear them for a long time, the top of my ear where it meets my head starts to hurt from the headphones hanging over it.

I wish I could have a pair of the headphones I got for DH for Christmas. I got him a pair of around ear Bose headphones. They are awesome!!! So comfy! These are his:

Those are awesome... especially to wear during a flight... I miss mine
Had to sell them to pay one of Bugsy's vet bills when I was unemployed... It's ok I guess... It went for a very good cause

They require a special technique to insert btw.

You use the hand opposite your ear to pull up and out on the top of your ear, and then use your other hand to twist in the earbud.

It will stay in place and form a tight seal. Reverse to remove.

If they still don't fit well, it may have just been cheapo buds.

I do like the over the ear though for practicality, as putting isolating buds in and out is a pain in the butt, and I don't mind sharing over ear, but in ear... ew!!!

Get some of the smaller softer foam bud covers. You can try radio shack or get some of the nicer ones online - like Comply. Always clean your ears before putting them in, too, if I fail to do that not even ear plugs will stay in place.

I may have to try that method!
I use the Skullcandy ones like in the picture, except mine are blue
I use the smallest tip that came with them and they are really nice. I haven't tried jogging with them but for regular stuff they stay in just fine.
I just have to keep myself from picking the cord apart, lol.
