I just got a call from Mom (yes she's calling me again, lol) saying that my aunt, Chris, delivered her daughter's (my cousin's) baby boy on the way to the hospital during a snow storm this morning! 
I guess Ashley (my cousin) called Chris this morning saying she was in pain and thought it was time. This is her 3rd child and the other 2 labors were fairly hard and drawn out. Chris lives close to Ashley, rushed over. It was a bad snow storm, so she could only go so fast. I guess Ashley told her that her water broke on the way and Chris kept telling her to "hang in there". Ashley said nope, the baby's coming! Chris pulls over on the side of the road and delivers her own little grandson! I guess she tied the umbillical cord with a shoelace and then called the ambulance! As far as we know right now, Ashley and the baby are fine, but we're waiting for details as this literally just happened.
Poor Chris! Just a few weeks ago a coworker and good friend of her's dropped from a major heart attack right in front of her! She performed CPR and was told that he would have died if not for her. What a strong, amazing woman my aunt is!
