Stopped eating wet food after new dry

Hello.....so after a month, I am still trying to find the right mix of food for Calvin and he just made it a little harder since yesterday. He had some diarrhea problems right after he came to us and so we waited till that was resolved to move him away from the Science Diet for dry. He was having about about 7.5-8 oz of wet food in 3 feeds and I was putting out about 1/4 cup of kibbles with all day access, which he never finished - just grazed a little. He's 5 months old. So yesterday we started mixing a little bit of Wellness Kitten dry with the Science Diet dry and Calvin seemed to really like it - in fact he liked it so much that he's going back to the dry and refusing the wet food. I am glad that he likes Wellness but am worried since I want Calvin to eat more of the wet food than the dry. So after he refused the wet food this morning, I just hid his dry food bowl. Is that an okay way to deal with this? Any other way I can encourage him to eat his wet food?

Just wondering how the day progressed... did he eat any of his wet food? What wet food are you feeding?
