I have a very dear friend and her husband who have worked in animal rescue for more than 15 years. Yesterday while working on their new home her husband's tractor roller over on him and trapped him under it. His arm was 90% severed between the wrist and elbow. He laid there for some time before anyone heard him yelling for help. He was in such serious condition that they had to air lift him out by helicopter. They have re-attached the limb, but his wound is so serious that they will have to go in and irrigate it daily and cut of any tissue that has died. They can not even do skin graffs for about 1 to 2 weeks.
These are some wonderful people. They are both loving and giving. My friend has devoted most of her life to rescueing abandoned and abused animals. There have been times that they have done without in order to give to the animals. They are both retired and are not spring chickens anymore. They need any healing vibes and prayers anyone can spare. George is holding his own today, but he is not out of the woods yet. He is going to have a very long and painfull recovery. The doctors do not expect him to gain full use of his arm.
