I own a truck, and I do know how to drive, but my lazy butt doesn't have a valid license (Nothing bad, I just let it expire in 1988), so no, I don't drive except in the park where I work/live.
I do drive but sold my car before moving out here (to the downtown of a major city on the other side of the country). Have managed with rentals when needed and public transit - has saved me a ton of money in the last 4 years, and its gonna hurt the wallet when I need to have a car again (which I assume will happen once I leave Edmonton after my degree)....hopefully Ill make enough money that it doesnt matter lol
I stopped being able to drive recently due to medication I'm on. I do have a car, though. DH is currently driving it b/c his car is giving him difficulties and needs some work on it. It is a 2000 Dodge Stratus. DH has a Jeep Grand Cherokee, but I can't remember what year.
I drive an old beat up 94 Plymouth Acclaim that I got in July. It works better than my old 96 Honda Accord...lol I can drive both a automatic and a standard. I hate Standard's.
Yes I can, but thanks to my hubby who wrecked my '03 Dodge Caravan in December of 2009 and his 1993 Plymouth Voyager in September of 2010, I am driving my dad's 1994 GMC pickup and Charlie is driving his 1995 Acura Legend (actually, we switch up and whoever has the longest drive at the moment drives the Acura...it has heat and the pickup doesn't, lol!)
My personal vehicle is a 1992 Isuzu Rodeo. It is kinda raggedy looking, but I have never really cared what I drove as long as it was reliable and reasonably priced.
My cab is a 2003 Impala, the most godawful ugly yellow with black numbers and company name. But it is a nice car, one of the nicest in the fleet.
I bought a 2011 Mazda2 about a month ago and I love it! it's a teeny tiny little car, but really doesn't feel small. I also still have my previous car, a 2004 Chrysler Sebring, it served me well- 165,000 miles on it in less than 7 years
I just got laid off in December, and when I was working and going to school, there were days when I drove 100 miles a day
I drive....Unfortunately for the next 3 yrs Ill be the only driver in the house...(dang Penn Dot) I have a 02 Ford Explorer which I LUUUURRRRVEEEEE. It has been my dream car forever and I wouldnt get rid of it for anything. DF got an offer for 5k for it last weekend and told me and I flat out said NOWAY! The only way I would sell the Explorer is if we were getting a new Explorer OR I would be willing to go back to a Chevy Cavalier but newer like 2000 or above!
We do have a truck in the works, a 66 F-100 that DF is fixing up to take around to car shows. He just bought a 79 Ford F-150 to tear apart and beat around in the yard. Too bad the other 12 cars that are in the sheds and storage spaces arent ours LOL!!
I've been driving since Thanksgiving night, the year I was 15. One of my older brothers offered to teach me, and even let me use his '64 Chevy Impala. His favorite place to take me for lessons was a local cemetery.
I drive a 1967 Mustang; unfortunately, she hasn't been out of the garage since early December. With all the ice and snow we've had, I've decided to let her sit for awhile.
I drive a 2010 Chev Equinox LTZ . I love my SUV. My kids school is at the top of a steep hill. It was pretty hard with my Montana van to get up there. With the Equinox I haven't even spun out once.
I can drive stick but I currently drive an automatic.....a black 1992 Jeep Wrangler Renegade. (at the time these were top of the line- the "Renegade" package was a 4k upgrade) Absolutely love it!!!!
I "ride" as well- got my motorcycle license last year. And got myself a 2000 Harley Sportster 883 upgraded to the 1200 with lots of chrome and loud pipes. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. Wish I got my butt on a bike sooner!!!!
The public transportation system is not great where I live, so I've been driving since I got my license at 16. Right now I've got a manual transmission 2001 Saturn sedan - it was my first new car ever, and come this summer I will have had her for 10 years!!! She's only got about 65,000 miles on her, and I'm planning on driving her into the ground. I haven't had a car payment for 5 years, and am NOT looking forward to going there again.
I get good gas mileage, but the downside is my car is not four-wheel or even front-wheel drive, so winter can really suck. Especially the past few weeks when we've had a LOT of snow...
