A big KIA would work for you, they are better ish on fuel
post #4 of 49
Yes - and I drive a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox. Hopefully next year we can get a new one... hopefully

Yes, I do, and we have a VW Passat station wagon. It's a diesel and gets great mileage.

My dad works for Kia and yeah they're great but we don't have the funds at the minute, he got us this car, it was a part exchange he had in, was only £800.x

I don't drive but Dana does. We have a black 2005 Dodge SX 2.0. I have never learned to drive...never really needed to. Dana has tried to teach me, but I am a very high strung person and just end up having panic attacks. The road is safer without me on it.

I'm unable to drive a stick shift but if necessary I can drive an automatic. I have not been behind a wheel in many many years.

I drive a 2008 Chevy Impala. I wish we lived somewhere that had better public transportation though because I'm really starting to hate driving. Well, driving is ok it's just all the other idiots on the road. Especially in winter. That's one of the downfalls of living in the country though. It's a 5 minute drive to the nearest store to get toilet paper

A GMC envoy...........

I drive an old small toyota carolla. Luna and Midnight's carriers barely fit in the backseat. That's how small it is.

Yes. I daily drive my 2011 Mustang V6 6-spd manual.

We also have a 92 Acura Integra LS that the hubby drives daily (272k miles!)

And a 99 Ford F350 diesel dually, my Monster, which is currently getting some minor things fixed on it.

Then we have 2 project cars but they haven't been driven in over 5 years!

My birthday's in February, so I learned to drive in the snow, and on a stick shift. I don't like driving the RV on the highway, but can.

We have a Toyota Sienna van and the RV.

Gary does most of our driving though. He loves it and it's one of the few things he can still do that doesn't CAUSE pain.

I drive an '02 Nissan Sentra. It's been a good car to me and it gets pretty good fuel mileage (33 mpg) so I've been happy with it. I have about a 50-mile round trip to work each day and no realistic public transportation options, so without a car I would out of luck.

I was driving a 91 GMC Sierra PU, long bed, extended cab until it got stolen in early December. Now I'm looking for a new to me vehicle. DH drives a 95 Nissan Altima (standard) and I can drive it if I absolutely had to, but as a rule, I don't "do" standards.

I love to drive and will only drive stick....I don't like automatic.

I have a 2001 PT Cruiser (his name is Clarence). DH drives a Toyota Tundra (his name is Terrence).

I can drive a stick, and did for decades, but our current car is an automatic that can be switched to a stick and I love it. I think I've used the stick shift once (in the mountains).

Same here The only thing I like about automatic transmissions is that they make my husband a good bit of money

I do drive and love to.
I hav a 95 nissan Sentra but am going to test drive an 02 Audi A4 convertible next weekend So excited!
I am learning to drive a stick. I learned to drive an auto and wish I would have had a stick to learn on. I can drive one if I need to, but tend to do a lot of burnouts

Currently in our driveway we have:
95 Nissan Sentra
99 Kia Sephia
01 Honda S2000
79 MG B
99 Subaru Impreza 2.5rs
82 Ford F150

all are the boys except for my Nissan!

I have a 2010 Ford Focus. It's small, but half the time it's only me in it anyhow. We take it around as a family as well- but we usually rent when it comes to long family vacations.

I used to drive the 2000 Chevy Venture van. I still do- but most of the time it's in the passenger seat while the almost 17 year old is driving it. No licence yet- only her permit, I'm thinking this summer she'll be ready for her licence.

The Focus gets much better mileage than the van does. But the teenager's not driving the Focus- it's just too little IMHO for an inexperienced driver. She knows of 2 kids who've gotten into accidents (1 totaled a car) so I'd rather her drive something that is a tank.

Dh has a 2006 Chevy truck.

I would have looked at a Chevy when we were purchasing a new car last year. But- I still wanted to buy American- and Ford was the only Big 3 automaker who took no federal money.

I own a truck, and I do know how to drive, but my lazy butt doesn't have a valid license (Nothing bad, I just let it expire in 1988), so no, I don't drive except in the park where I work/live.

I do drive but sold my car before moving out here (to the downtown of a major city on the other side of the country). Have managed with rentals when needed and public transit - has saved me a ton of money in the last 4 years, and its gonna hurt the wallet when I need to have a car again (which I assume will happen once I leave Edmonton after my degree)....hopefully Ill make enough money that it doesnt matter lol

I drive a black 2007 Nissan Sentra, otherwise known as the "Cat Mobile," by the parking lot attendant at our office.

I drive a Toyota Corolla. I love my car!

I stopped being able to drive recently due to medication I'm on. I do have a car, though. DH is currently driving it b/c his car is giving him difficulties and needs some work on it. It is a 2000 Dodge Stratus. DH has a Jeep Grand Cherokee, but I can't remember what year.
I drive an old beat up 94 Plymouth Acclaim that I got in July. It works better than my old 96 Honda Accord...lol I can drive both a automatic and a standard. I hate Standard's.
Have two vehicles - a Chev 3/4 ton 4X4 and a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Yes I can, but thanks to my hubby who wrecked my '03 Dodge Caravan in December of 2009 and his 1993 Plymouth Voyager in September of 2010, I am driving my dad's 1994 GMC pickup and Charlie is driving his 1995 Acura Legend (actually, we switch up and whoever has the longest drive at the moment drives the Acura...it has heat and the pickup doesn't, lol!)
My personal vehicle is a 1992 Isuzu Rodeo. It is kinda raggedy looking, but I have never really cared what I drove as long as it was reliable and reasonably priced.
My cab is a 2003 Impala, the most godawful ugly yellow with black numbers and company name. But it is a nice car, one of the nicest in the fleet.
Yep! I learned to drive with a Mercury Topaz, automatic transmission, and my first car was a Ford Escort.

DH and I just recently got a 2011 Ford Edge, and I am the primary driver. We'll be selling my Escort to a friend.
