Not sure what the back story is, but I'd say he's VERY happy to be home! What a sweet, sweet picture. Very touching, too.

She has asthma and recently had a bad attack. Her doctor said she had to give up the cat. She did. However, after looking into it more, she discovered ways to manage allergies and cats, and now has her lovely boy home again!

Thst is simply the most touching photo - I'd get that framed immediately. Good luck that all goes perfectly for you both.

Thank you guys so much! I am so beyond happy to have him back home with us. Unforturnately when I arrived to pick him up I wasnt as happy at what I found.
She wasnt home (even though I called 30 minutes before I got there, after driving for 2 hours), when she got there she had his stuff already packed and ready to go. The area she had kept his food and litter was in her basement, but there was broken glass all over, dirty, wet, moldy boxes all over the ground and it smelled of pure ammonia. We went upstairs to get Jericho and she brought him out of her room and he ran over to me and I picked him up only to find his nose, ears, and upper lip red with dried blood and scratches(I'm assuming because her older girl cat wasnt happy about him being there from what I hear). As you can see he isnt a dark cat, but his fur was completely covered with white dander and he was shedding like crazy. I opened his crate and he walked right in and laid down, like he was ready to go and when I asked if she wanted to say goodbye she just looked through the crate and said "bye little guy...ok I gotta get back to my parents" and that was it, like she could have cared less whether he was there or not. Then she tells me that she was "leaving for chicago that night just to get away for a few days"......................I'm sorry but this just made me SO angry. He had been there for 2 weeks, her one cat hated him, he had been through such a huge trauma and change and she was just leaving him alone for "a few day"? I felt like I had sent my child to live with a negligent parent. He cried the whole way home and I could tell all he wanted to do was snuggle because he would start pawing at my arm lol. As you can see when we got home he was just fine and has been glued to me for the past 2 days now
I couldnt be happier that he is home where he should be and that he is now clean and being taken care of!
