Annnnd.....It's a GIRL!!!

My beautiful niece was born on 1/1/11 at 12:01 AM, making her the first baby of the year born in our county.
How cool is that?!

I just got back from visiting her and she's perfect!
I'm so happy for my brother and his wife.
First grandchild on both sides so we're all very excited.

Our local hospital gives prezzies for the first baby born on New Year's Day and Mothers Day. I'll bet she gets some loot, too! However, she "just" missed being "Daddy's little tax deduction" for 2010! LOL

Little baby girls are THE BEST!

My brother and sister-in-law were interviewed by reporters all day.
And they got a free private room at the hospital
