I got my kit through in the mail today and I started on Otis this evening. He responded very well, picked it up straight away but I was using food and he is a gready moo! But signs are looking good.
I'll keep you all posted as to our progress.
fingers crossed

Clicker training can be used in many ways. You can use it to condition a cat to get down off of counters, or to stop scratching, or doing other behaviors we see as *bad* and they see as just simple instinct.

With my cats, I use clickers to call them in for meals because the sound carries, and if they are fighting, I use it to break up the fights. Very effective

I want to train him to let me groom him without biting and scratching and also not be so aggressive. he's been to the vet and there's nothing medical wrong I think I have just spoiled him so he gets his way whenever he wants it. Not anymore boyo!!
It didn't go too well today though, he was totally disinterested in any of the treats so it kind of ground to a halt. But tomorrow is another day and it will take months!

That sounds like an idea the baby food thing. I'm having trouble finding the right treat for both of them. cool
