Am looking for some suggestions for DS Games - I like things like Mahjong, Match 3 games, hidden object games - have been a bit disappointed with some of my buys, even though they have had good reviews. I do have game rentals, but due to holidays, I dont have anything to play.

Any suggestions (bearing in mind I am in the UK, so might not have all the games you have)?

I only play occasionally on the DS, so I asked my SO. He wondered whether you had tried any of the games in the "Mystery Case Files" series (I believe these are available in the UK).

Snood is a lot of fun, but I don't know if it's on DS, or Game Boy Advance. I have both, haven't done much with both in a long time.

Yep, have rented one of the Mystery Case Files - Millionheir or something. WAsn't overly keen, as I couldnt get past one of the levels - as it was rented, i could use another set up, but came across a similar level and couldnt get past that either.

One game I liked that I have seen loads available for the PC is Amazing Adventures.

I have tried Cradle of Rome, whcih I enjoyed, and there are lots of interesting looking Match 3 games available, but am reluctant to spend £15-20 on a game, as I rented 7 Wonders II and finished it in about 2 days (and prob played a couple of hours each day, while watching TV).

i got the first Professer Layton with my console, but didnt' really like it, much prefer games that just take me to another level, rather than wandering round to find them. Yep, I have Game and Gamestation, have had games from both but never thought of asking them about game recommendations. The only thing I have found is that HMV/Amazon have a much better selection.

I prefer the pre-owned selection, and I got a game from Game for £4 cos it didn't have a cover - unfortunately I didn't like that game either, another disappointment, as I have had that game on a few consoles and always enjoyed it, but they ruined it when they put it on the DS. One thing I did discover this week is that Asda/Asda Living are now doing pre-owned games and you can trade games in there for money off, they are sometimes cheaper for games than Game/Gamestation, unfortunately the one I want is out of stock at my store atm.

Yeah, I found out this week, and asked if the Living stores do it too (as they have a bigger selection than my store).

I could recommend you on my game rental if you like, think you get a 14 day free trial? I pay £5.99 a month and you get two games/films a month - but only one disc at a time. There are other packages available though.
